Jessica Salley Riccardi

Dr. Riccardi's research focuses on long-term outcomes after childhood brain injury. As a clinical speech-language pathologist, she is particularly interested in cognitive-communication after childhood brain injury and understanding brain injury in high-risk groups, such as individuals in the juvenile justice system. Collaboration is integral to Dr. Riccardi's research, including working with survivors of childhood brain injury, their caregivers, and the professionals who serve them. Dr. Riccardi is passionate about advocating for policy change to better serve children with brain injury and educating the general public about the impacts of brain injury.
