Examines the extent to which public libraries across the United States are offering a range of career services, including résumé and cover letter support, job application assistance, interview preparation, training, and referrals to American Job Centers/other support services.
Discusses an analysis of public assistance recipients’ experience and perception of public policy on the frontlines analyzed focus groups with cash assistance recipients to understand recipients’ experiences and perceptions of the relationship between frontline public policies and their employment-related goals.
Reviews several aspects of student migration, including secondary enrollment projections, net migration at the state level, capacity of higher education institutions, and the employment outcomes for those completing postsecondary education in New Jersey.Uses data from the U.S. Department of Education, as well as NJEEDS.
