Sara Hughes

Hughes's research focuses on urban water and climate change policy and politics. Overarching themes in Hughes's writings include the politics of urban climate governance, challenges to safe and sustainable urban water systems, and justice in urban adaptation and sustainability transitions. Hughes serves as a chapter lead author for the Global Environmental Outlook Cities report, an advisory board member for the Environmental Politics and Governance workshop, and has previously contributed to global, national, and regional environmental and climate change synthesis reports.
