Publications

"A Global Overview of Male Escort Websites" (with Victor Minichiello, John Scott, and T. Harrington). Journal of Homosexuality 64, no. 12 (2017): 1731-1744.

Details a preliminary dataset of global male escort sites to give insight into the scale of the online market. Results suggest that most sites are independent and not affiliated to escort agencies, and the majority cater to male escorts soliciting male clients, with many sites for female clientele and couples.

"Exploring the Occupational Context of Independent Male Escorts Who Seek Male Clients: The Case of Job Success" (with Chritian Grov). American Journal of Men's Health (2017).

Explores job success among male sex workers, indicating that success in the field was well articulated, possibly highlighting that male independent escorting is becoming a professionalized occupation, with a shift away from current stigmatized understandings.
