About Matthew

Moen is retired as Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of South Dakota, the highest rank accorded by the SD Board of Regents. He is author of six books and dozens of articles, ranging from his early research on the Christian Right to state legislative term limits, and more recently, the nexus of liberal arts education, civility, and American democracy.
