Sheetal Gowda

Gowda's current research focuses on the role of public-private partnerships in the delivery of education in India. Previously she has participated in different research projects such as: “Investing in the Crisis: Private participation in the education of Syrian refugees”; “Knowledge Banking in Global Education Policy: A bibliometric analysis of World Bank publications of public-private partnerships”; and “Understanding Youth Leadership in the Boston Public School Walkout Movement.” Overarching themes in her research include education and development, private sector engagement in education, education privatization policies, and the evaluation of education policies.
